An Automated Army To Fold All Your Shirts…

​Have you ever watched Despicable Me?  It’s a fun kids movie that deals with the idea of chasing your dreams at the expense of everything else.  This mastermind criminal, Gru, inherits a family in his pursuit to steal the moon.  As he get’s closer to his goal, his newfound family continues to fall to the way side.

It culminates in the ultimate betrayal of his family.  His three adopted daughters have been practicing for a dance retail through out the movie.  He promises that he will be there.  The night of the recital he is stealing the moon.  He is holding it in his hands, so excited to have achieved the dream he has been working towards for his whole life.  As he holds the moon in his hands, his invitation to the dance recital floats past him. 

Overall, it is a great kids movie.  If you’ve never seen it, and have kids, I highly recommend it.  You may be wondering what any of that has to do with anything!  Well, there’s something else in that movie that everyone with a business or factory could learn something from… Gru’s Minions! His minions are his workers.  His henchman.  They are these tiny little men that perform the basic tasks it takes to keep his evil factory running, and even his life.
