The Blue Streak II ®
is designed with a low center of gravity for ease of handling and features the best power-to-gravity weight ratio in the industry. It is versatile for maximum productivity and minimal fatigue. The Blue Streak is the obvious choice when one machine is required to perform many roles.

534 Cardinal
This model is specially designed to cut low lays of wool, cotton, silk and synthetics. The 534 provides lightweight maneuverability with more than enough power for positive cutting of these materials. The smallest Cardinal, it weighs just 16 pounds and stands less than 12-inches high.

548BK Cardinal
The Eastman slitting machine is another example of the versatility of Eastman's Cardinal 548. The 548BK is equipped with a stationary mounting, instead of a baseplate, to allow the machine to be mounted for slitting operations, either single or multiple, as the need requires.

For most slitting applications, the cutting machine is mounted in a stationary position and the fabric moves past the blade. For clean slitting, the profile that the cutting machine presents to the oncoming fabric should be as thin as possible.

548 Cardinal
A smaller, more maneuverable version of the 562, this general-purpose round knife machine delivers the same wide range of uses with the advantage of a smaller lighter package. The 6-inch machine is also available with a lower-speed gear ratio to provide higher torque for heavy duty applications.

562 & 567 BK Plastic Cutter
The round knife rubber and plastic cutters are designed to easily slice through rubber, plastics and other dense materials that require a stronger motor. Each of these special round knifes may be supplied with a high-speed, low-speed or dual-speed motor for the broadest range of applications and they may be fitted with an optional Plastic Master lubricator.

Cardinal® Model 567
Eastman's most powerful round knife, the Cardinal® Model 567 is equipped with the same high-torque motor as the Brute straight knife. A dual-speed option offers versatility and utility, but the 567's biggest asset is its power. When supplied with 120-grit sharpening stones and a high steel blade, the 567 is capable of the most demanding chores, including even deep lays of denim or canvas.

Little Giant
With slightly less capacity and power than the Robin, the Little Giant is an economical choice for low lays when the Robin is too much machine and the Eastman Chickadee® Electric Shears is not quite enough.

The Model BBB32 features a double-bevel blade, which is preferred when cutting heavier weight material.

The Model BBS32 features a single-bevel blade and shear plate designed for loosely knit and lighter weight fabrics.

The Buzzaird
Engineered for cutting small amounts of heavy, dense rubbers and plastics or for use in wet areas not suited for conventional electrical cutters. Applications include trimming belt loops, woven fiberglass, coated materials; even Kevlar is no match for the Buzzaird. The Buzzaird is more powerful than any other cutter of similar size, and requires 60-90 psi compressed air for operation.

The Chickadee®
The smallest round knife available, the Chickadee® replaces handheld shears. The Chickadee is powered by Eastman's Perma-Field Motor and has 40 percent more power than any other handheld knife its size. This, combined with its streamlined, lightweight construction, helps eliminate operator fatigue. Equipped with either a round blade for general use or a hexagon blade for sheer or difficult to cut cloth, the Chickadee has a cutting capacity 25 percent greater than competitive models. The Chickadee features a built-in sharpener and an ergonomically designed grip-actuated on/off switch.

Four different baseplates and cutting tips can be selected, depending on your specific use.

Stabilizer Shoe: The standard foot attachment, a utility feature that lends itself well to all cutting and slitting operations. Ball Tip: Best when slitting tubular knits or other loosely woven materials. Broad Stabilizer: For those applications where slightly more stability is necessary, useful for eliminating distortion between plies. Baseplate: A small baseplate fitted with needle rollers to create the lightest free standing rotary shear available. Provides the greatest degree of accuracy from top to bottom ply.

Eastman's Rag Cutter
is used to cut any kind of waste material into rags. A fully enclosed motor driving two separate work stations makes the Rag Cutter dually productive. Each work station includes its own independent adjustable knife guard; all three features combine to present the ideal solution to the task of cutting rags.

Eastman's Rubber Slitter Model RS2
The very dense characteristics of rubber and some plastics demand a cutting machine with extremely high torque and very low knife speed to keep friction and heat build-up at a minimum.

Eastman's Rubber Slitter Model RS2 was engineered with these special rubber characteristics in mind. With a high-torque DC motor combined with a lower gear ratio, the Rubber Slitter has the power to dig through up to 1 1/2" (3.81 cm) of 80 durometer rubber.

The Rubber Slitter comes equipped with grooved blade and lubricating fluid dispenser. A strip gauge to set cutting width is an available option.

The Long-Handled Chickadee
encompasses all the features of the D2 Model, with the addition of a long handle and a remote power switch. This machine is the ideal companion to any spreading machine for cutting out flaws or laying up fabrics.

Model 629PM
The model 629PM takes Eastman's proven Blue Streak II straight knife with heat-reducing features (short stroke and wave blade) and adds Eastman's special gravity-feed moistening attachment. The flow of coolant onto the wave blade may be exactly metered to achieve the desired degree of lubrication and cooling of the blade. For more heavy-duty applications, the Plastic Master moistening attachment is also available with Eastman's Brute/Model 627 straight knife (specified by ordering Model 627PM).
